There’s a New Chief in Town for 2024!

Noor, a 5th Grader, was selected to participate in this year’s “Chief for a Day Program” with the Little Ferry Police Department! Working alongside LFPD Chief James Walters and School Resource Officer, Jenn Ali, Noor learned what it takes to manage a police force as well as the ins and outs of keeping both our town and schools safe!

Fantastic job, Noor! We’re so proud of you!

American Legion "George Diem Safety Essay Contest" Winners

This year's winners of the Essay Contest are 1st Place, Paul Gillian Gonzalez, 2nd Place, Brianna Celdo, 3rd Place, Jaslene Ynfante. Paul's essay also was a first place winner at the County Level. All three students received certificates and checks from American Legion Representative, Pete Pezzillo.

These students beautifully answered the question “What Does Freedom Mean To Me?” and are now the lucky recipients of a $50 prize. An additional $50 donation will be made to the Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship Fund in each student’s name.
