Recognizing "Teacher Appreciation Week"
Dear Royal Knight Families,
As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week from May 5th through May 9th, I want to take a moment to recognize and honor the outstanding educators who make a lasting difference in the lives of our students each and every day.
Our teachers are the heartbeat of our schools. With unwavering dedication, they go above and beyond to inspire, challenge, and support our students—both academically and personally. They craft engaging lessons, provide individualized attention, and create classrooms where every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to grow.
The level of professionalism, passion, and care our teachers bring to their work is truly exceptional. They are lifelong learners who continuously seek new strategies and ideas to elevate student learning. They collaborate with one another, pursue ongoing professional development, and remain fully committed to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for all.
This week—and throughout the year—I encourage everyone in our school community to take a moment to thank our teachers. Whether it’s a quick email, a handwritten note, or a kind word in the hallway, your appreciation goes a long way in reminding them how much they are valued.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the LFBOE, LFPTA, LFPD, LFAA and all of our parent volunteers for making this week so special. Your thoughtful gestures and support help create a positive atmosphere that lifts up our staff and enriches the experience for everyone in our schools.
To all of our teachers: thank you for the dedication, care, and excellence you bring to your work. You are making an incredible impact, and we are deeply grateful for all you do.
